The Aleka / Tuflite V-Tech in 11'2 is the option for those who want to do SUP routes at a good pace.
Like the small 10'4, Joe BARK designed the Aleka to paddle in flat water, but also to surf small to medium waves. The 11'2x29" is more technical than the 10'4, faster touring and with a touch of longboar style in waves.
The prAna/Surftech collaboration adds an incredible aesthetic. Surftech's Tuflite V-Tech molded construction consists of high quality bamboo veneer, EPS foam, fiberglass and epoxy resin.
They include a storage net on the deck, an integrated handle, a padded rear handle and a padded pad that covers ¾ parts of the board.
The board has been verified as Level 1 by Sustainable Surf's ECOBOARD Project for its use of bio-based resin and BLOOM foam (20% algae biomass based). This SUP is specifically designed for a person interested in sports and exercise. It is narrower and less stable than beginner boards, making it more efficient while allowing the user to properly engage the full force of the core with each stroke of the paddle.
