The Black Project Maliko fin has a 45° rake which is optimal for shedding weed, kelp and trash which otherwise would slow you down. The Maliko SUP race fin is best suited for intermediate to advanced level stand up paddlers with a low to medium cadence.
It is made with the Pro Carbon Ultralight technology, so it is the lightest sup race fin available.
The Black Project Maliko fin helps you to track straight and reduce paddle swaps enabling you to power through the chop more effectively when paddling on rough water affected by wind and current. If faced with a side or head wind the Maliko will give you more resistance and help you stay on course and focus on your paddling. When the race conditions become ugly the Maliko will help you perform at your best.
The increased area towards the tip of the Maliko SUP race fin generates a keel effect helping to help you keep upright and paddling. The Maliko SUP race fin will help you paddle a narrower sup race board and on rougher water than previously possible. The Maliko is often used by paddlers looking for extra stability after changing down to a narrower board.
