Starboard Lite Tech
Lite Tech is the new tecnology for composite boards that Starboard brings to us. The Tiki brand has developed this technology taking into account its experience making boards for watersports since 1994. The staff of Starboard set a rigid standing area with a 0,6 mm of sustainably sourced Australian pine, adding extra deck impact resistance.

These boards have multiple reinforcements thanks to a combination of different fiberglass densities wrap the entire hull for high strength and durability. A stringer that goes from the tail to the nose complete the set to give more stiffness to the board. The reinforcement covers an EPS core with a high density of 15 kg/m3. Fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight, the moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage and gives shear resistance.

Finishing the board, we find a new pad made with recycled EVA rubber. Starboard is shifting toward recycled EVA deck pads from post industrial EVA waste, increasing UV protection & reducing the use of petroleum.
