By integrating an inner profile, the M1-R has dramatically improved laminar flow —making for a steady, high efficiency wing. This design extracts more wind energy, and turns it into higher speeds, ensuring you get the most out of every breeze. The M1-R (SDS) has been optimized for smooth, controlled performance through every maneuver. The inner draft is strategically placed, ensuring smooth transitions and a stable ride, even in gusty conditions. Unlike traditional single-profile wings, the M1-R cuts through gusts with ease, driving forward momentum without being pushed off course by being blown outwards like a single profile skin wing.
It is constructed with the highest quality materials to ensure long-lasting performance. It is made with Dyneema fabricf, for a greater frame rigidity and the proprietaryM-Weave for a higher density,low-stretch materialon the canopy. The Dyneema allows the wing to withstand higher PSI and efficiency and both fabrics ensure greater durability. The result? A wing that delivers superior performance with enhanced canopy longevity.
The M1-R (SDS) comes equipped with a full-length carbon boom of 108cm, designed to help you find your perfect “sweet spot” with ease. Whether you’re dialing in your harness or simply enjoying the ride, the boom gives you precise control over the wing, ensuring superior maneuverability. It also contributes to the overall stiffness of the inflatable center strut, giving you more control and stability in all conditions.
To maintain the ideal wing shape, PPC has added full-length removable battens, which fit conveniently into the wing’s carry bag. These battens, combined with the stiff frame, create alocked draftthat enhances stability and improves overall feel—giving you greater control and confidence every time you ride.
