Duotone DTF-Foilpart Front Wing Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB
The most advanced front wings to date from Duotone.
In search of reducing the drag and weight of the foils to a minimum, Duotone decided to merge the front wing and front half of the fuselage together. This eliminates any compromise in terms of shaping the front wing to fit our fuselage front wing mount. It also allows to remove the three bolts which are necessary to fix our "bolt on" SLS front wings on the fuselages, reducing the drag and weight even more.
The Carve 2.0 D/LAB, same as the SLS variant, are quite different to the previous Carve range. They feel a lot less draggy and way looser in terms of roll, allowing the rider to do heel side to toe side turns way more naturally. The top end speed has also been increased thanks to a thinner profile towards the wing tips and the higher aspect ratio allows the Carve 2.0 D/LAB to glide and pump much better than its predecessor.
The Carve 2.0 D/LAB range is based on the new Carve 2.0 SLS range but with a few little tweaks. Compared to the SLS range, the aspect ratio is slightly lower and the profile a bit thinner and faster, to allow these wings to be pushed to higher speeds, whether it is going down fast waves, throwing the most technical Freestyle tricks or even using them for Wing Foil or Kite Foil racing.
The D/LAB range also introduces two smaller sizes, the 650 and 500, but doesn’t include the bigger 1430 found in the SLS range.

- Aero Carve 2.0 D/Lab 500 the smallest and most radical front wings. The Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB 500 is targeted to kids/light riders or experienced ones wanting to tackle big fast waves on their wings or kitefoil at Mach 2 speeds. Tweaked to maintain a good level of control when going full speed when paired with the 43cm tail, or to be super turny when used with the 37cm tail. Ideally paired with the 165 P stabilizer and +0.3 deg shim.
- Aero Carve 2.0 D/Lab 650 the second smallest wing in the range, targeted to kids/lighter riders or experienced ones looking for extra speed, whether it is to tackle bigger waves, freestyle on the wing or challenge your friends on a kitefoil race. Rig it with 37 tail for maximum manoeuvrability in the waves or pick the 43 tail for more control at high speed. Ideally paired with the 165 P stabilizer and +0.3 deg shim.
- Aero Carve 2.0 D/Lab 850 has it all, it’s got instant turning and response in the waves, exciting speeds for both winging and kite foiling, incredible pop for Freestyle and the glide and low drag efficiency to make it through flat sections. This is the one wing to have in your quiver.
- Aero Carve 2.0 D/Lab 1100 the biggest wing in the D/Lab family. Advanced riders will choose this wing for waveriding in small to medium waves and freestylers will love it in light to medium wind conditions. Best suited to heavy kitefoilers or very light conditions, the 1100 D/Lab is a great allrounder that feels slippery for it size and easy to use. It can also be used for prone surfing, where its turning ability is only matched by the smaller Carve 2.0’s, although realistically it will not pump as well as our other higher aspect front wings.

Duotone Front Wing Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB
La Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB es hoy en día el ala delantera más vanguardista de Duotone.
Con el objetivo de reducir el arrastre (drag) y el peso de los foils al mínimo, se fusiona el ala delantera y la mitad delantera del fuselaje. Así, el diseño del ala delantera no está alterado para que encaje con el fuselaje, y a su vez se eliminan los tres tornillos que unen estas dos piezas, reduciendo aún más la resistencia y el peso.
Las Carve 2.0 D/LAB, al igual que la variante SLS, son bastante diferentes a la gama Carve anterior. Se percibe mucho menos arrastre y más libertad de movimiento, permitiendo carvings heel side to toe side más fluidos.
La velocidad punta también se ha incrementado con su perfil más fino hacia los extremos del ala, y el cambio de shape más tipo High Aspect proporciona un bombeo y deslizamiento mucho mejor que su predecesora.
La gama Carve 2.0 D/LAB se basa en la nueva Carve 2.0 SLS, pero con algunos pequeños retoques. En comparación con la gama SLS, la relación de aspecto es ligeramente inferior y el perfil un poco más fino y rápido, para permitir que estas alas puedan alcanzar mayor velocidad, ya sea bajando olas rápidas, lanzando los trucos de Freestyle más técnicos o usándolas para carreras de velocidad de Wing Foil o Kite Foil. La gama D/LAB incorpora dos tamaños más pequeños, la 650 y la 500, dejando fuera la más grande de 1430 que sí se encuentra en la gama SLS.

Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB 650 es la segunda ala más pequeña de la gama, dirigida a riders ligeros o riders experimentados buscando velocidad para surfear olas grandes, hacer Freestyle con el wing o hacer carreras con los amigos. Combínalo con el estabilizador de 37 cm para una máxima maniobrabilidad o elige el estabilizador de 43 cm para mayor control a alta velocidad. Su combinación ideal es con el Estabilizador P de 165 con una cuña de +0.3 grados.
Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB 850 lo tiene todo: giro y respuesta directa en las olas, gran velocidad en Wing Foiling y Kite Foiling, increíble pop para Freestyle y gran eficiencia sosteniendo el vuelo. La 850 no puede faltar en tu quiver.
Aero Carve 2.0 D/LAB 1100 es el ala más grande de la gama D/LAB. Los riders avanzados montan este ala para olas pequeñas o medianas, y a los freestylers les encanta en condiciones de viento ligero o medio. Es ideal para riders de peso medio a pesado o para condiciones de viento suave. La 1100 D/LAB es una excelente todoterreno con buen glide para su tamaño, destacando su fácil manejo. También se puede utilizar para Prone Foiling, donde su capacidad de giro sólo es igualada por las alas más pequeñas de la gama Carve 2.0.
