Founded and powered in Maui, Hawaii Cabrinha Kites produces kitesurfing equipment for adventure and water sports lovers. The design team's approach to innovation has been the driving force behind its development philosophy, keeping the brand technically and culturally connected to customers.
After joining forces with Neil Pryde in 2000, Cabrinha benefited greatly from the Pryde Group's rich history and experience in the production of yacht and windsurf sails.
In February 2020, the brand was bought by Water Bound Investments, run by former longtime professional Cabrinha kitesurfer Jon Modica. With the brand's research and development center and headquarters located on Maui, Cabrinha is at ground zero for watersports innovation, and has played an innovative role in the evolution of surf sports by pioneering kitesurfing, tow surfing, foil boarding and surf foiling.
Over the years, Cabrinha has led the industry in innovation, performance, and safety. With a distribution network in more than 70 countries around the world, they are focused on customer service and satisfaction.
They produce products powered by a 100% renewable source (the wind), and remain socially connected with like-minded people who enjoy the water, protect the planet, and are stewards of the ocean.
