The Axis Dock 880 is Axis's dedicated offering for pumping foil. Its design focused on a single goal: to create the most direct and efficient pumping board possible. Its shorter length reduces swing weight, and the board weighs 300g less than the Dock Carbon 899, delivering an even more agile response.
Long foil tracks allow for precise fine-tuning of the foil position, while the concave deck enhances feel and pressure distribution across the contact area. Reduced bevelled rails create a flatter base that, combined with a much flatter overall rocker, promotes more efficient pumping. A subtle nose kick has been retained to assist with water touch-offs and tail pop, and the tail has been widened to provide ample surface for the back foot, giving the rider greater leverage over the foil during turns.
By omitting a deck pad, the Dock 880 provides an amazingly direct and responsive connection, maximizing energy transfer to the foil—a crucial factor when every second counts toward beating a personal best.
