The Axis Mini Dart is a new take on Axis midlength boards. This board was designed with parawing in mind, but it will bring many advantages to both wing foiling and prone foiling. Its fast rocker makes take-offs easy even in challenging conditions. The bottom shape transitions from a displacement hull in the nose section to a flat midsection and tail, resulting in great acceleration, clean release, and fast deflection off the water's surface.
Just like the Dart, the wider tail improves stability and offers a larger planing surface to generate speed. The extra length and added volume upfront allow the rider to pump the board on top of the water to comfortably generate forward momentum without submerging the nose. This is a massive advantage, especially for parawing, where pumping the board is a crucial step for a successful take-off, but also for prone foiling, making it easier to paddle out to the lineup and catch waves.
The Mini Dart features a concave deck for increased responsiveness and a locked-in feel when riding, resulting in greater confidence during hard carves and better control at high speeds. This board redefines what a midlength board is capable of.
Whether for wingfoiling, parawing, or surf, this board does it all and excels in a wide variety of conditions.
