Duotone Electric eMast AL Cruise Set
The Foil Assist Cruise Mast AL (eMast AL Cruise) is a shorter and more accessible electric-assist mast, specially designed for beginners and schools, offering excellent performance, high compatibility, and a clear focus on safety and modularity.
Main Features of the Duotone Electric eMast AL Cruise Set:
- Length: 80 cm (shorter than the standard Mast AL → ideal for beginners).
- Motor position: 15 cm above the fuselage (lower than in other models).
- Retains all the advantages of the Mast AL: internally routed cables for better glide and maneuverability, plus a rigid surf-inspired profile for precise control, instant response, and minimal drag.
- Safety & propeller: folding 2-blade propeller that opens only when the motor is running and automatically closes when the ring remote is released → reduced drag and increased safety.
- Optional propeller guard (highly recommended for beginners): attaches with 3 small screws, adds slight drag and slightly reduces battery life (compensated by using larger foils and boards).
- Aluminum propeller blade option (not included): higher torque, stiffer but sharper.
This mast is 100% compatible with the other two Assist masts and all their accessories (cable, leash, motor, batteries, eHarness, remote, etc.). Includes a fuselage adapter compatible with 10 brands: Duotone, F-One, Armstrong, Gong, Axis, Lift, North, Code, Sab, AFS and KT. Mounts on any prone or wing board with standard US boxes.

For beginners and schools, the ideal combination is with the Duotone Midfish Air board, which allows the battery box to be placed on the tail without the need for a harness.
Average battery life of ~30 minutes (depending on rider weight, skill level, conditions, speed, and equipment size). Tip: purchase a second battery pack to extend sessions.
Compared to a traditional eFoil, the advantages are that it is much more compact and lighter, enables setups impossible with classic eFoils, and works with your existing boards and foils.
