The Float SLS is the latest addition to Duotone’s wing range, delivering unmatched wave performance.
Built with a PentaTX leading edge and strut, the Float SLS redefines power, responsiveness, and stability for wave and FreeFly enthusiasts. The 135g PentaTX material in the leading edge and strut reduces weight without compromising durability, offering 5 times more tear resistance and 50% less stretch compared to standard 160g Dacron. Combined with a reduced leading edge diameter, the Float SLS achieves even less drag and more direct power delivery, making it the ideal wing for riders pushing their limits in the surf.
Designed with a low sweep leading edge and a forward profile, the Float SLS offers a highly stable riding position and extremely smooth power control, with slightly forward power delivery for intuitive handling. The reduced angle wingtips stabilize drift and float, allowing the wing to stay aloft and drift naturally even in demanding conditions. Whether carving aggressively on a wave or gliding smoothly in FreeFly mode, the Float SLS excels in all scenarios. Its minimalist and lightweight design, windowless and boom-only, keeps performance at its peak.
Available in sizes from 2.0 to 5.5, this wing is the perfect choice for riders seeking maximum wave riding performance.
For a 100% wave-focused experience, the Float is available in a boom-only version, eliminating unnecessary weight for effortless maneuverability. The boom is NOT included with the wing. Pair it with the Fusion Carbon Boom for the ultimate setup to surf lines with maximum precision.
