Planning to use an aluminium integrated mast or a NoLimitz carbon mast with your Foil Drive Fusion? You will need the **Barnacle Cable Extender** to compensate for the extra length of the Fusion.
The motor plug position on the Fusion is slightly further away from the mast than on the MAX and Slim models, so the cable plug doesn’t reach naturally. The Barnacle solves this by plugging into the electronics box socket and extending the connector closer to the mast, allowing the mast plug to connect without issue.
All carbon masts (except NoLimitz) already have extra cable inside the mast. Follow the instructions to extend your cable — in these cases the Barnacle is **not required**.
The Barnacle is **ONLY required** for aluminium masts and NoLimitz carbon masts.
The kit includes the Barnacle with the motor plug O-ring already installed and 3 titanium M3 10 mm motor plug bolts.
