Naish Chimera 2027

The three main goals for the 2027 Chimera were to improve efficiency when pumping and getting onto foil, optimize feel and maneuverability while riding on the foil, and concentrate more volume into a thinner, shorter platform.

The new silhouette of the Chimera is shorter relative to its volume than any previous model, keeping the same nose width while increasing width at the tail. This profile change allows the same amount of volume to be packed into a more compact shape.

• Bottom shape: Convex hull nose facilitates clean, progressive transitions, shifting to flat, straight edges in the rear 40% for faster takeoff and more efficient pumping momentum.
• Beveled rails: Minimize drag during touchdowns, ensuring fast and smooth recovery without losing speed.
• Concave deck and W-Concave: Designed for an ergonomic front foot position, providing greater control and direct contact whether riding strapless or with straps.
• Biaxial carbon sandwich construction: Combines lightweight performance with a rigid structure, minimizing dents and maximizing response when pumping.
• Parawing ready: Its compact profile reduces excess board length that could get in the way during parawing use, while maintaining the necessary stability on the water.
