The Naish Chimera is the ideal surf foil board for experienced riders seeking the versatility and high-performance features of a single board to cover all aspects of foiling: surf, tow, and wing foiling.
Born from the rocker lines of the Hover Surf Ascend, the new Chimera range has evolved to know no limits, surpassing expectations of what’s possible in surf foiling.
Constructed with a biaxial carbon and fiberglass sandwich, superior strength is a core feature to maintain the board’s key structural aspects, preventing dents or cracks during hard landings, while keeping the overall weight lighter than ever.
The narrow outline, combined with its low-volume composition, dramatically enhances the board’s maneuverability and optimized turning ability on waves. The increased waterline and bottom shape provide greater momentum during takeoffs and faster acceleration from the water’s surface.
The beveled edge allows for quick landings and a super-sharp tail release for maximum efficiency when getting up on the foil, enabling riders to use a board with approximately 10 liters less volume than their usual board. The modified volume distribution raises the board’s balance profile, making it easier to handle, while the deck recess, a combination of a light W-concave and EVA pad, offers optimal paddling comfort and ergonomic foot placement with excellent control, keeping you secure without the need for straps.
