The SlingWing V5 is designed for riders demanding responsiveness, power, and stability. The True Tension Airframe design reduces sail drag, eliminating oscillation while leaving the sail loose on a wave, making direction changes so effortless they can be done with a single finger. The True Tension Airframe is reinforced with Code 95 P material on the trailing edge, ensuring sail tension throughout its lifespan. Combined with the unlimited grip options of the SlingGrip Uni Handle, this allows for effortless maneuvers when in the glide zone.

Building on the insights gained from developing the high-tension wings of the SlingWing NXT, the SlingWing V5 offers improved balance, power, stability, and ease of use compared to the SlingWing V4.

This revolutionary design enhances all elements of Slingshot’s flagship wing. Improvements in new materials, leading edge shape, and the high-tension sail profile make the SlingWing V5 more balanced and easier to fly. This wing excels in all performance metrics, regardless of how or where it is used.

The SlingWing V5 comes with the new SlingGrip Uni Handle to maximize control and power delivery. Once you try the Uni Handle, you’ll never go back to a two-handle wing.
