The Starboard Flux combines the stability and reliability of the Enduro range with the smooth, race-inspired efficiency of the Velocity. The result is a blade that feels lighter, provides a smoother stroke, and allows you to maintain a high cadence effortlessly.

The Flux keeps you feeling fresh during long sessions; a higher cadence paddling style reduces muscle load, allowing you to paddle longer and conserve more energy. It works in two ways: in SUP surfing, it extends your time on the waves without fatiguing your body, while in touring, it offers great stability and power—gentle on the shoulders, yet firm and solid the moment it enters the water. 

The Prepreg version is the lightest, strongest, and most responsive. It pairs a blade crafted entirely from top-quality 3K prepreg carbon with controlled resin absorption to boost overall strength through a highly consistent prepreg process, along with the Carbon Pro shaft. As the lightest shaft to date, it is engineered for effortless paddling and longer sessions with less fatigue, constructed from multiple layers of premium prepreg carbon arranged in various directions to maximize strength, durability, and performance. It features an outer carbon layer with a unique diamond pattern that delivers a superior, comfortable, secure, and non-slip grip in any condition. Its balanced stiffness ensures immediate power transfer, making every stroke smoother, faster, and more controlled.

Features of the Starboard Flux Prepreg Carbon Paddle:

• WINGLETS: The design of the winglets is inspired by foil advancements. These winglets line the blade and generate less turbulence, allowing the paddle to move more smoothly through the water with less flutter
• DOUBLE CONCAVE DESIGN: This design provides stability, a precise tracking path, and even power distribution across the entire blade surface. This ensures consistent power throughout the stroke and reduces splashing at both entry and release
• 13° BLADE ANGLE: The 13° angle makes the blade versatile for all conditions. It is ideal both for accelerating quickly to catch waves and for comfortably paddling in flat water, offering speed without requiring advanced technique
• SEAMLESS CONNECTION: The Flux blade features a new integrated connection system that offers a smooth, seamless join between the blade and the shaft
