Starboard Spice Limited Series 2026

The Starboard Spice is the board designed for waves, offering incredible turning ability and rail-to-rail transition, impressive speed on sections, and ideal wave riding performance.

The Spice model serves as the "bridge" between the Wedge and the Pro. More agile on waves than the former and easier to handle than the latter, it’s ideal for those who want to simply enjoy the waves without complications.

The beveled rail allows for extremely fast and easy turns. The slightest foot pressure, and the board takes the desired direction. The rails are super thin both at the nose and tail, reducing swing weight during turns and providing direct response when you apply pressure to the tail.

Its design enables it to handle a wide variety of conditions, from small beach waves to large reef breaks. Developed in Portugal and tested by several Starboard team riders, we can say it’s the perfect option for hassle-free surfing.

With the option of a thruster or quad setup to adapt to wave conditions, the new Spice will delight many.

The Limited Series version is available in various sizes:

• 7'4"x27": Specifically designed for riders up to 85 kg, this board offers unmatched surf performance. Its length allows for fluid turns, while its 27" width facilitates quick and explosive maneuvers.
• 7'11"x 29”: Perfect for surfers between 70 and 90 kg. It’s a super fun board. Its length enables radical turns and tackles the critical wave section confidently without the nose catching. With 29" of width, it provides sufficient buoyancy without hindering speed or maneuverability.
• 8'2"x 30.75”: Ideal for weights from 80 to 95 kg. This was Trevor Tunnington’s favorite model during development in Portugal. This size is easy to paddle but reacts in a second thanks to the thin, beveled rails. Fast and stable, we’re confident its performance will surprise you relative to its size.
• 8'8"x32": With 140L, it will surely be a favorite among those who want to save energy and maximize time in the water. Long enough to catch waves easily, yet compact enough to move and tackle sections without the nose digging in. Incredibly stable with its 32" width. Anyone up to 115 kg can handle it without issues.
• 9'3"x32.75": With 145 L, it’s designed to be the most stable option for people up to 130 kg. It catches any wave as it’s quick on the takeoff and allows surfing very small waves. With 32.75" of width, the board offers tremendous stability for comfortable paddling and can be used for cruising and enjoyment without problems, which is why we’ve categorized it as both a SUP surf and all-round board.
• 10'3"x32.75": The largest size to offer less experienced SUPers the chance to step into a high-performance model. It suits larger riders and follows the same design as the smaller Spice sizes, including the beveled rails for excellent handling and speed. It offers a more dedicated SUP surf mode with good cruising behavior. Ideal for larger individuals seeking a longer, specific surf design.

All models come with 4.7" front fins and 4.5" rear fins, except the 10'3" which comes with a 170mm center fin and 4.7" side fins.
