The Downwind Mk III board by Armstrong is designed for progression in downwinding, catering to both beginners and advanced riders tackling short-period skatepark conditions. Its displacement hull enhances paddling speed and simplifies getting onto the foil, while a shorter, narrower outline paired with Forward Geometry foil tracks improves maneuverability, enabling sharper carves and more efficient pumping. Despite its compact dimensions, the board ensures comfort and stability through rounded rails, a flatter deck with increased standing space, and a new rail shape that prevents sudden balance loss, making it ideal for skill development without sacrificing performance.
The Mk III also prioritizes control and durability, featuring a tailored deck grip with micro-cutouts for secure yet adjustable foot positioning, dual central arch bars, and rear corner blocks for added traction.
