KT Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing 2 Hollow Pro Carbon

The Crossing Hollow employs the lightest and most buoyant construction, weighing 25–30% less than the standard build, translating into a significant performance advantage for greater speed. It features air chambers and bulkheads for maximum stiffness and responsiveness, along with a hard-shell construction combining unidirectional and biaxial carbon layers over a high-density exoskeleton. With less foam and more air, it offers greater buoyancy per liter, making the Hollow the lightest, fastest, and most responsive board to date.
The KT Crossing is designed to deliver speed and directional performance in open ocean conditions, ideal for disciplines like parawinging, light-wind winging, or SUP foiling, with a design that maximizes glide and acceleration, enabling quick takeoffs with smaller foils. Its new volume distribution, long and narrow 17.75” wide outline, Ginxu double displacement hull, and rocker optimized by Keith Teboul, Kane de Wilde, and Adam Lewis ensure stability, control, and efficient takeoffs in long or choppy swells, while almond-shaped rails, an aerodynamic nose, and a tri-plane tail enhance wind resistance, linear stability, and directional changes, even in 35–40 knot conditions.
Available in 106L, 115L, and 121L.
Key features of the KT Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing 2 Hollow Pro Carbon:
- Outline: Longer, narrower shape focused on straight-line speed. A 17.75” width tested as the optimal balance between stability and performance.
- Bottom: Ginxu double displacement hull. The narrowest design reduces drag and maximizes glide, optimized for open ocean conditions.
- Rocker: Engineered with an optimal entry angle and subtle tail rocker, ensuring a balanced, even-footed feel both in the water and in the air. Matching the speed of fast-moving swells enables immediate foil lift.
- Rails: Almond-shaped rails at the nose transition to boxier rails at the standing area for control and quick directional changes. Tested in 35–40 knot conditions with excellent wind resistance and minimal chop tracking.
- Nose: Aero arrow nose significantly reduces windage in high-wind conditions and improves crosswind capability.
- Tail: Tri-plane tail with soft rails transitioning into an aerodynamic shape enhances water release and promotes linear stability in open ocean conditions.
