For this week, from HoeNalu, we want to make a review of the new Naish Nalu 2018. This paddle board by Naish has several seasons in the Hawaiian brand catalog and is one of the mains of the Robby Naish's factory, which year after year incorporates improvements in the design and construction of this model, with a production of awesome boards, because without doubts, one of the main characteristics of the boards of this brand is their look, that joined to the quality and performance of the products, cause that Naish fans remain faithful to the brand although the years and the hard competence.

This week we want to talk you about NSP, a brand stablished in 2001 by Buzz Hansen, a hawaiian shaper, who started made custom boards for the local surfers of Maui, and he thought about the needs of every people and started to make boards suitable for everyone.

It's probably that if you are doing Stand Up Paddle since two years or more, you know that NSP is the board brand that uses the two stars of SUP: Titouan Puyo and Travis Grant, that have placed this brand as one of the top one in the world in the race modality. But NSP has more to offer than these famous race boards, remember that it comes from the surf world, so we are going to introduce you all the NSP paddle boards range as well as some interesting paddle that the brand brings for 2018.

This week, we bring you updates on the 3rd Marbella SUP Festival, which is an event that we organise and sponsor in partnership with the Paddlesurf Marbella and Nalusur schools. This year, as a novelty, the race belonged to the Circuito del SUP de la Costa del Sol, which has generated much excitement and a large influx of people, with more than 100 enrolled in the different classifications.

The event took place in an enclosed area of the sports port in the city who – together with la Delegación de Deportes y el Ayuntamiento de Marbella - helped to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

Many SUP clubs and schools in the area and throughout the country turn to us to enjoy a typical Marbella day with spectacular weather and an amazing atmosphere.

We offer our congratulations to the participants for their willingness and good sportsmanship with those who came to our town. With the success of this event, we can confirm that the SUP will be coming to our coast for a long time to come. 

Have you ever pictured yourself paddling on a river, not with a kayak but instead on top of a Stand Up Paddle board? A lot of people think about paddling on the sea or maybe do SUP on a lake, but we are telling you that it can also be done on a river. It's a complete change of scenery, vegetation, flora and wildlife that will let you enjoy this sport under a different light.

SUP can be practiced in many locations, even if there's no ocean around. In this post we will focus on how to practice Stand Up Paddle on rivers, be it a round trip or a downriver rafting session.

Before cutting, you need to find out what the correct size is, so we recommend that you first read our post on how to adjust your paddle's length.

A piece of advice: if you are still not sure of the right size for you, cut it a bit longer than you normally would and try it out without attaching the handle, so you can still adjust the size and cut it again if necessary to reach the ideal length.
